A new breed for me!
This is an Alaskan Husky. Well, actually there are mixed opinions about this being a pure breed or not. Some say that Alaskan Husky is a name for all sled dogs, others say it's a breed that have been used for pulling sleds for decades.

I think to really define the Alaskan husky is a hard thing to do. For one, growing up in Alaska and watching the Iditarod every year from the time I knew what a TV was, I saw all manner of these wonderful pups. They are in general lankier than say, a Siberian Husky, and quite a bit taller as well. I would say also that they are probably in the same weight category. Almost all of them have flopped ears at least in part, and from those that I have seen the perked ears are only about half of what is out there.

They can be anything from all black to all white and anywhere in between, so a color standard at this time would be simply out of question. There has been a way to truly run these dogs to their fullest potential though, and it starts out with something ridiculous like a 6 hour jog. They can go up to top speed, for about 6 hours, but only after truly being warmed up. As runners and being bred to run as they do, you can easily over run and exhaust them. You can also literally "run these dogs to death" since they love what they do so much.

The main thing when i define an Alaskan Racing Husky from a Siberian or a Malamute or any other such sled dog is the deeper chest, a thiner waist, longer legs and not quite as pronounced a stop as on other "husky" like breeds. Their ears do half a 50% chance of flop, and they must love to do one thing: run.
